Wow, you've been making music for five years? Your sound design and composition are quite poor for someone who's been doing it for so long(not meaning to be harsh here, just trying to help). I think the best thing for you is to watch tutorials on youtube. There are tons out there that can go into way better detail than I can while writing this review(I'd recommend SeamlessR, he covers tons of topics).

I also recommend listening to music. Not just listening, but listening constructively. Find exactly what sounds are in a song, and where. Lay down a song you like in your DAW, and find where new things are added, and how long they last. Just really listen to what songs you like sound like, and really try and replicate those sounds.

Sorry if I sound a bit mean, I honestly am trying to give good feedback. If you have any questions about specific things, message me, and I can try to help.

Yeah, only been doing music in a DAW for less than a year. Most of my experience is with writing music on paper. So sound design isn't exactly my forte. I'll definantly see some tutorials on YouTube like you said. As for listening and replicating, I started doing that a few weeks ago.

It's completely fine that your feedback is negative. I actually prefer it over everyone saying "good job" because that's useless feedback. Thx

Wow! Usually I have a small complaint with your sound design or mixing, but this was perfect! This may be one of the cleanest sounding tracks on Newgrounds. Great job!

[Sunset Breeze]

This is a really cool song you have! For the most part, I love the feel, the melody, and almost everything about this track. I enjoyed the bass sound, along with the arp in the beginning. At :18, I feel the clap didn't quite fit with the other elements, but it was close enough that I didn't mind all that much. At :30 the drums were pretty good, but I feel you could have made them stick out a little clearer in the mix. Whether through more side-chain, or just bumping the volumes up a little bit.

At 1:02 I have nothing to complain about :) great melody there, and it fits well with everything around it.

I feel the transition at 1:34 could have been a lot smoother, the transition comes much too quickly. One moment I'm hearing the melody, and the next I'm hearing something completely else. Try to incorporate some down-lifters and other effects to smoothen out the transition going from the drop to the break.

The break itself was really cool, no complaints there! At 2:03 I really liked the transition getting back into the main body of the track. At 2:11 great work with the vocals there they fit quite nicely. The outro at 4:05 was great as well, nice ambient sounds there.

All in all, I really liked this song! Keep up the good work, I have a feeling you'll be great someday! :)

I think this guy's style is kind of similar to yours, he would probably be a pretty good reference point for you. http://jumper.newgrounds.com/ - Just listen to some of his tracks, and get an idea of some mixing, and some melody ideas.

Wow! That's some of the best melodic dubstep I've seen on Newgrounds(although there isn't that much melodic dubstep on here). Great job, keep it up!

That was quite a good song, although your supersaws, which you brought at about .36 were wayyyy out of unison, not meaning to be harsh but they didn't fit well at all. Most of your other sounds were really good, I especially enjoyed the main one you filtered in during the intro. I liked the piano melody, and then rise up at 1:40, that was probably the highlight of the song for me. The song would be 4 stars, if not for the supersaws, but all around that was pretty good! Keep growing!

Really good stuff here! There are only some minor improvements I think, that haven't already been stated. First off, at 1:16 I personally would have added the snare roll a little earlier, when the cutoff was still being released. I think that may have helped it transition a little better. (But that's personal preference, take it with a grain of salt). Also at :16 I suggest making that new bass synth a little more pronounced. It's a pretty cool bass, and deserves it's clarity. Thirdly, it wouldn't be a bad idea to make your effects a little bigger in some places. You're going for a big sounding track, your effects will help a lot.
Most of this is personal preference so it's your choice. All in all, great track. I can't wait for the final version!

Ok ill try the snare roll and see how that would sound, And yeah i know what your saying with the bass synth but if i made it more pronounced then i felt like it would take away from when i took of the filter every four bars or so, but ill give it some more room to breath and see how that sounds. As for the effects do you mean like reverb and other vst effects or like sound effects like sweeps and crashes.
